Tackling Brain Disease - Open Weeks 2015

This free public event showcased some of the brain research going on at the University of Oxford and the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. Over 250 people came along to find out more about what is being done to tackle dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and epilepsy. They browsed interactive stands run by researchers and charities, and heard four ten-minute talks from experts. The event was part of the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre Open Weeks and Brain Awareness Week.

This film was produced by Oxford Medical Illustration part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. Find out more about OMI here: oxfordmi.nhs.uk/OMI
